CrinEar Daybreak
When I first put the DayBreak in my ears, it immediately reminded of the Variations, only that is now has a more engaging bass.
The tonality can still be described as balanced with a subbass boost. Really good bass textures and impact. Mids sound natural and organic, instruments sound natural as well.
I tried playing drums with it and I didn't hear any unnatural timbre from the cymbals or boosts in the upper treble.
All in all, a very good reference set if you want to stay long in the hobby.
Also a very good upgrade if you like Crinacle's tuning, especially if you are coming from the truthear reds.
Pros
- very natural sounding
- great bass quality
- organic sounding mids
- non fatiguing treble
Cons
- can be shouty depending on track
- people might find boring for the lack of coloration
- non a detail monster
