Aful Cantor
With the endless release of iems, it is hard to keep track of everything, and sometimes great sets are forgotten.
Somehow reviewers, including myself, are to blame because maybe we don't talk about them anymore. There will be less exposure and good sounding sets just gets buried in our memories😅
Anyhow, I wan to try to do some throwbacks. Because it is Thursday?😆
The AFUL Cantor
Released a year ago and priced around $799, sometimes cheaper depending on sales.
In my opinion, these are still great for its price and is still very competitive even to IEMS costing twice.
The only problem is the fit, you have to make sure your ear holes are big enough to fit the long nozzle, with the eartips on. Okay that sounded a bit odd. Let me rephrase.
You have to make sure that you are able to shove the iems in. Okay I think the rephrasing is not working so never mind haha.
Anyhow, the tonality can shift to bright leaning to a balance set depending on how deep you are able to put the iems in.
Aful's tuning is something of their own. They haven't really departed from their philosophy and has always maintained that "low gain" kind of sound.
I am probably an Aful shill but I am also very honest about the stuff I don't like, particularly the Aful p7's treble. But hey, I know a lot of people like that presentation.
Have you heard of the Aful Cantor? What are your thoughts?do you think it is priced right?
Happy throwback Thursday!😇
