A good all rounder?

This is my first time trying out a set from the brand.

I'm sure your have seen and read reviews of the Pula Audio Unicrom

It's another single DD priced $79, colorful stab wood designs, resin build and interchangeable connectors.

It's hard to fault a single DD especially nowadays that companies know how to tame peaks and how to make the overall sound signature smooth.

The unicorn is a warm u-shaped signature that is very easy to like. Instruments and vocals sound natural and organic, however I have one issue with the sound of snares.

When I practice playing drums, snares tend to sound dull and they are not as snappy as I want them to be. I think it has something to  do with the elevated midbass. Listening to music is okay though, maybe most people won't even notice it .

Anyhow, I think it is a good set for people who are looking for a coherent, all rounder set under $100 bucks. But it's also important to note that there are also great sounding sets around that price range.

Pros

- good bass impact

- balanced signature

- deep and proportionate stage

Cons

- some treble peaks with wrong eartips

- midbass can make some instrument sound dull

- a bit recessed midrange

Thanks and have a great day!😇
